         1.       What is cyber law? When it was introduced in Nepal?

Ans: The law that deals with cybercrime, regulates the use of computer and internet and keep the provision of punishment for cyber criminals is known as cyber law.

        It was introduced in 2061 B.S./ 2004 A.D.

 

2.       What is cyber crime?

Ans: Any illegal activity that is committed with the help of computer and internet is known as cyber crime.

 

3.       What are the types of cyber crime?

Ans: The types of cyber crime are listed below:

 

1.    Hacking: Hacking refers to an unauthorized access or control over someone's computer or network by breaking security intentionally for an illegal purpose. The one who does hacking is a hacker.



2.    Cracking: Cracking is also a popular type of cyber crime. It is an act of breaking into a computer security system.



3.    Identity theft: It is a type of cybercrime where a person claims to be someone else in order to do financial fraud. When it is done through the internet, it is called online identity theft.

4.    Pornography: It is an act of creating and distributing sexually exploited photos and videos over the internet. It is done with the purpose of creating sexual stimulation in people.



5.    Fishing: It is a cyber attack to steal money or data by showing greed for money and asking for bank details or other information from the people.



6.    Software piracy: It refers to the illegal copying and distributing of computer software without ownership or legal rights.



7.    Cyber stalking: It is a criminal act where an individual uses the internet to harass or threaten someone. 



8.    Forgery: It is a cybercrime of making fake documents, modification of existing documents, or unauthorized signing of a signature without authorization.

Ans: Hacking refers to accessing someone’s computer system without the owner’s permission by breaking the security for the purpose of stealing data and information.

Ans: Software piracy is the illegal copying and distributing of original software.    

 

6.       What is pornography?

Ans: Pornography is the practice of creating and distributing sexually exploited photos and videos on the websites for creating sexual stimulation in people.

Ans: The set of moral principles that regulates the use of computer is called cyber ethics.
